Custom Rubber, the start

Justin started Custom Rubber back in 2002. With a background as a Manager in the tyre retreading industry and experience in the engineering sector, Custom Rubber started as a hobby in Justin’s garage.

Custom rubber moulding, CAD design, and CNC cutting

From there Justin went on to further develop his own skills and invest in additional machinery to expand his business into custom rubber moulding, CAD design, and CNC cutting.

One-off and production runs

With a team of three, Custom Rubber design and produce one-off and production runs for the ports, the wool and spinning industry, heavy engineering, classic and race car enthusiasts and many more.

In 2012 Justin moved Custom Rubber to its current premises in Oropi and has plans to expand his business even further with additional staff and workshop space.

For Justin it’s important to continue to offer the personal service and cost effective approach his business has become renowned for. He prides himself on the fact that his large customer base have been with him since day one and continue to seek his help with a range of projects.
